How does Spa Land work?

Spa Land uses two different types of hot spring water pumped from 100 meters underground and sterilized 36 times a day (that’s once every 30 minutes!). One type is sodium bicarbonate water, referred to as the Beauty Bathtub. It claims to remove dead skin cells and make your skin and hair shiny.

How do I get to Spa Land in Haeundae?

Walk straight about 110m and turn right to Spa Land's entrance. 3 mins walk. By Taxi from Haeundae Beach, 15 mins. Spa Land is located at the World's largest department store, Shinsegae Centum City. This is one Korea's most modern and posh-looking Korean traditional spa (Jjimjilbang) that spreads over 2 massive floors.

Does Spa Land have hot springs?

Spa Land is gigantic and known for having hot spring water with sodium bicarbonate that is pumped in through pipes that descend 100 meters underground. The hot spring water is close to sea water and fills 18 different hot springs in the building. That’s not the only pull though.
